1. Can I make a link to your site on my page?
If you want. You don't need to ask permission to place web links on your own page. Its sort of like asking the librarian permission to give library directions to other people.
2. Can you make a link to my site on Rolozo Tolkien?
I'm sorry, but I have no link section.
3. Can I use your images at my site?
None of the images (besides the thumbnails) were created by me except for the color Middleearth map, middleearth2_c.jpg (which is, in fact, a digital colorization of an existing Tolkien map), some assorted family trees, and the welcome banner. You have as much permission as I do to make the images accessible on the net. If you believe that material posted on the site infringes on a copyright, please let me know.
4. Do you have any contact information for a particular artist?
If I have any contact information for any artist, I post it on their collection page in the collection record. Currently I only have email and web address information for some artists, though I would add postal information if an artist gave it to me.
5. Where can I buy a ... ?
I don't know. :) Seriously, if you're looking for a map, poster, book, board game, recipe for elvish way bread, etc., head on over to google and punch up your item of interest. There are also several mammoth online stores and trading bazaars whose sole purpose is to connect you with your item of interest. If I was going to purchase something Tolkien-ish for someone, I'd have to do the same leg work since I have no idea either. :)
6. Who are you?
Ryan Eric Lovett: born in 1976 in the San Fernando Valley in southern California, U.S.A. Currently living in the San Francisco / Bay Area in northern California. I work as a programmer at the University of California at Berkeley, though I'm still trying to figure out what it is that I'm supposed to be doing with myself.
