Fain would we try
For the speech that is now lost to us
Of a time hatefully long ago yet at once so utterly sublime
This complacency we had not felt
Until we are together again at long last.
In my heart I did utter what my tongue cannot
The torments of rasping darkness
Fell at our loneliness thrice and more
Begone and chased away
All toil and pain forgotten in the flaming light.
Mouth closed, and from a gesture of silence and doom
We dance with utmost joy and mirth
Our old feet leapt again with our very exquisite being
Living with you again
My preciousssss.
