What I need:
- At least 1 GB of disk space.
- At least a 10 Mb connection.
- Enough RAM/CPU to handle several millions of hits a month.
- SSH
- Apache with PHP/MySQL support
- MySQL
- Perl
- A knowledgable admin who won't blink too much when I humbly request that
funkypackage-1.2.3 be installed.
What I can offer:
A link back to your web page at the top of my pages. This is what I do for
theonering.net. I do not want to put advertisements on my site since a lot of
the artwork is copyright various hardworking artists and I do not want to make
money from their work.
For some reason, the good folks over at theonering.net have entered into this
arrangement with me and I think its worked out well for us. At least I
have been fortunate enough to benefit from their resources and able staff.
Again, I am seeking a backup server only, though theonering.net which was once
my backup became my primary when my primary began to go kaput. If you think you
