Tour 3: The Artists of Middle-Earth

Art by Rob Alexander

Rob Alexander has never, to my knowledge, illustrated an edition of LotR or even a calendar. His work graces the cards of the Middle-earth card game METW. Yet when I discovered him quite by accident, while browsing the Rolozo Tolkien website, I found his scenes of Middle-earth deeply evocative: conveying a sense of mystery, familiarity, and something I can only call "lostness" all at once. You can visit his official website here.
