Círjin

Son of Círion

Chief of the House of Cardolan

Rangers of the North     Defenders of Arnor

Family Line:

Círjin son of Círion is a direct descendent of Celendil son of Cirinil, the last prince of Cardolan. Though not in line for succession, Celendil was of an early age and fostering in Arthedain when his father and the rest of the House was destroyed by the forces of Angmar at Tyrn Gorthad, in 1409 T.A. Celendil remained in Annuminas until coming of age and spilt time between that city and the region Minhiriath for the rest of his life.
Celendil's line survived The Great Plague of 1636 T.A. when all but the middle son, Curjin the Strong, were slain. He was stationed in Fornost and though the rest of his family (and realm) were lost he remained unaffected in the North.

In 1993 T.A. Gelenil son of Gelendil was slain by the Warg of Carn Dum leaving his only child, Filai his daughter, as the heir to the bloodline. She continued the House through Maethros her eldest son.

In 2758 Tirjin Orcamarath, cut-off from all aid by the severe winter weather above Emyn Uial, tracked a roving pack of orcs. Killing an orc per day and living off the flesh, he single-handedly tormented the band into oblivion, until he could reach assistence in the south.
Since that time the blood of House Cardolan has remained unbroken down throughout the centuries as Rangers of the North, Defenders of Arnor.
